Zero tolerance drugs policy again upheld

A senior member of the Fair Work Commission has re-affirmed that it will support employers with zero tolerance policies to the presence of “illicit” recreational drugs, in this case cannabis, in an employee’s body in the workplace where the employer is engaged in a safety sensitive industry or otherwise where there is an “acutely sensitive environment”.
