The high income threshold, which limits who may pursue an unfair dismissal claim, has been increased from annually $183,100 to $190,100 from 1 July 2026.
This also means that the maximum compensation which the Fair Work Commission may order as compensation for unfair dismissal is now $95,050.
The new filing fee for unfair dismissal cases and stop sexual harassment orders is $92.70 up from $89.70.
The new minimum weekly wage is $1004.90 or $26.44 per hour.
