From 6 June 2023 the Fair Work Commission has the power to deal with disputes arising between employees and employers arising from requests to employers by employees for work arrangements flexibility and decisions by employers to refuse such requests upon “reasonable business grounds”. The powers of the Commission will be managed by conciliation and if necessary arbitration and also enlarge the categories of employees to make such requests.
