I offer a one stop shop for employment law advice about all issues which have legal consequences and implications out of the employment relationship between an employer and an employee, or principal and independent contractor. Most often the questions which are put to me arise from an employer or an employee wanting to understand their legal position. This is often in the context of a dispute, for example about termination of employment or wrongful dismissal, but not always.
For example, I am often asked by employers and individual employees to draft employment contracts arising from a course of employment negotiations. Or an employer may need the security of having an employee sign a restraint of trade covenant. The law about the validity of these employment conditions is complex and professional advice should always be sought about them.
I can provide legal advice on all employment issues which have implications for employers and employees, and can do so quickly, inexpensively and with a minimum of fuss.
If you browse the index of my employment law blog, you will see that I am qualified to offer advice and representation in all facets of employment law, whether it be negotiations, enterprise bargaining or disputes. I strive to keep the posts on my employment law blog updated daily, and am mostly successful in achieving that objective.
